Where can I find WireTap Studio for Mac OS X 10.6, Snow Leopard? Last Updated Mar 19, 2013. Support for Mac OS X 10.6, Snow Leopard was dropped with the release of WireTap Studio 1.2.1. If you are unable to update your operating system to Mac OS X 10.7.4 or later, you can download WireTap Studio 1.2.0 here. I am running Mac OSX 10.6.8 on a mac mini in my studio. I have tried to install a variety of version of Studio one and they all crash. What version should I try? Answered Feb 9, 2016 by mattcaprio (147,110 points) selected May 5, 2016 by mattcaprio. Can I boot from this and run Mac os X (10.6.8) and TechTool Pro on it to fix my desktop hard drive? I've followed internet directions on how to install Mac OS X (10.6.8) on the hard drive and then used Carbon Copy Cloner (version 3.4.7) to make bootable backup. When I restart with the option key I do see the partition listed as a bootable drive but when I choose it it goes to the Grey apple screen with the 'whirly-timer' and gets stuck in this. • Asked by fn from Milford • Dec 18, 2012. 'If it isn't broke, don't fix it.' The current combo you are using, has been proven, in my personal opinion, over time. To be the most stable combo of OS X and Logic. So unless you have a really good reason that requires you to upgrade your OS X to a later version. That's good advice Nigel and something that I generally adhere to. The reason I asked is because after letting my Mac Pro in my studio sit (turned on) for some time without use I found it yesterday with the perpetual gear running over the screen saver and the Mac would not respond. I restarted several times and could not get the machine to get past the gray Apple page with the gear. Rts games for mac. I have three displays so I unplugged two of them and did some other troubleshooting but to no avail. I have more troubleshooting to do today but if I can't solve the problem I have two HDs (one with Lion 10.7.5 and one with ML 10.8.5) that I could place in the Mac pro so I'm just planning ahead if I can't resolve the issue. Thanks for your reply Nigel. I'm in the same boat and have decided to try out a new OS with Logic X on another drive. It's so nice to be able to work with no crashes that I'm not sure the new Logic X features bring enough to the table. I do have a client that is on X now so I need to be compatible. I can say that Logic 9.1.8 and 10.6.8 is where I would stop if you're staying on Logic 9. From what I've read most people say skip over Lion completely. My question is should I stop at 10.8.5 or just go all the way to Mavericks? ![]() I also read that Apple has recruited beta testers for Mavericks 10.9.3 so maybe this will be worth the wait. FWIW, I flirted with LPX and Mavericks for some months. I just went back to LP9.1.8 and 10.6.8 last week. What a relief. Maybe next year just before they release yet another unfinished bug-ridden OS and LPX is at 10.1 or something, I'll try it again. My music computer stays at SL for now. Blink Thanks for the reply Blink. Bluestacks / android emulator for windows 7 8 10 & mac os x download. If I find that the hard drive is screwed I'll buy a new one and re-install 10.6.8 and Logic 9.1.8.
